Agenda Introduction
The agenda for the AVEVA World Summits is carefully planned so that delegates are given the greatest opportunity to attend sessions that are most appropriate for their industry, while providing the option to explore subjects outside their discipline. The Summits are held in some of the world’s most interesting cities and provide many opportunities for networking and social activities.
The agenda below provides an initial outline showing the balance between AVEVA and Customer presentations. More details will be added over the coming weeks.
Tuesday 8 November
Delegates arrive at the venue for an evening drinks reception. Here, you can relax after your journey, settle in to your surroundings and meet other delegates and some of the presenters in informal surroundings. A Welcome reception will take place from 19:00.

Wednesday 9 November
The programme for Day 1 begins with a combined keynote session with speeches from AVEVA executives and industry specialists. The initial session will focus on strategic topics which will be reinforced by customers and AVEVA presenters throughout the remainder of the Summit.
In the afternoon, the session splits into two tracks, one focused on the plant industry and the other on marine subjects. These sessions will include technology insights from AVEVA and its partners, real-world customer case studies from different industries, and broader business perspectives from guest speakers. No matter what your industry or business objectives, you will find much of value in this broad-ranging agenda.

Thursday 10 November
The second day continues with a split agenda, enabling you to focus on those issues most relevant to your particular interests. These parallel sessions will cover subjects of particular interest to Owner Operators and EPCs in the Plant industry, as well as to Marine designers and shipbuilders.
Recognising that the topics and the interests of some delegates may overlap, the agenda has been arranged so that you can customise your own personal programme and move between the two tracks.
The Summit ends in the afternoon of the second day with a combined session for all delegates. We reconvene to cover additional subjects of interest to all delegates, and for a final summary and closing.

Agenda last updated: 1 November 2011
While every endeavour has been made to ensure the accuracy of this agenda, please note that changes may have to be made without notification to delegates.
Throughout the Summit...
AVEVA invites selected partners and technology vendors to sponsor the Summits and exhibit their complementary products and services during the refreshment breaks. This provides valuable opportunities for in-depth discussions on specific technical issues.
...and after it’s over
Most of the value in these tightly-focused industry events lies in what delegates take back to their businesses – the lessons they’ve learned and the ideas that have taken root.
To provide an engaging record of the event and to help you inspire colleagues with the insights you have gained, AVEVA will give you access to the Summit presentations.
So, to get involved at the Summit – Register NOW – don't leave it too late! |
