Agenda Who Should Attend
Who should attend the AVEVA World Summits
The AVEVA World Summits have been specifically designed to complement AVEVA’s well-established User Meetings. Each of these two event types is targeting a different audience with different needs and responsibilities.
The Summit agenda is focused on strategic business and project topics designed to give delegates insights into the challenges faced by colleagues within and outside their industry. At least 50% of the presentations are given by delegates who share their operational experience through project and asset case studies.
The User Meetings are technical events designed to answer questions and explore the operation of AVEVA’s software applications. These User Meetings are typically held within a country or region so that local priorities can be addressed in local language. User Meetings can be focused on a specific industry, with events for the marine and plant industries often held separately.
By contrast, the AVEVA World Summits are international events designed for management and decision makers that have project or department responsibilities for teams using AVEVA products and solutions. The Summits cover both the marine and plant industry and are presented primarily in English with some foreign language content and selected simultaneous translation.
Key to the success of the Summits is both the structured agenda and the less formal networking when delegates have to opportunity to renew old acquaintances and develop new business contacts with industry experts across the process plant, power and marine industries.
Any AVEVA customer is welcome to attend the AVEVA World Summits. The Summit agenda has been specifically designed for senior and mid-level management from Owner Operators, Engineering Contractors and Shipyards.
